Stainsby, Thomas (American Flag) - January 20, 2014 - Age 84 - Beloved husband of Dawn (nee Stellrecht) Stainsby. Devoted father of Jay (Laura), Joy and Ned (Karen) Stainsby. Loving grandfather of Brittany, Kacey, Jay, Kiley, Marissa, Spencer, Allison, Adam and great grandfather of Cameron, Lexi and Chase. Dear brother of Shirley and the late Sylvia, Ronald, Florence and Mildred, Brother in law of Frank Kiener and Rita Stainsby. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home, Inc. 911 Englewood Ave. Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM. Tom was a life member of the Ellwood Volunteer Fire Company and a retired employee of the Niagara Mohawk Power Co.
