Hartman, Maura (nee Rooney) - April 25, 2014 - Of the Town of Tonawanda. Beloved wife of the late John M. Hartman. Loving mother of Patricia, Michael (Celeste), Carol (Christopher) Sajda, Donald (Laura), Gail and Lenore (Donald) Galbo. Dear grandmother of Jason, Robert, Tom, Katelin, Chelsea, Emma, Samantha, Melissa, Benjamin and Alexander. Last surviving child of the late John and Marguerite (nee Cass) Rooney; predeceased by her beloved siblings, the late Rita (Howard) Studd, Paul (Elizabeth) Rooney, John "Jake" Rooney and Charles "Cass" (Rosemary) Rooney. Sister in law of Jane Rooney. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home, Inc. 911 Englewood Ave. on Sunday from 2-5 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Amelia Church on Monday at 11:30AM. Please assemble at church.
