Italian - American “West Sider”,WWII Veteran, Retired Ken-Ton School District Employee, Former Custodian Union President, loving head of family and all around fun loving, good “guy”, passed away peacefully at The Brothers of Mercy on August 28, 2014. An Era is coming to an end. Beloved husband of the late Marion P. Zendano. Devoted father of Marion (Vincent) Aqualecchia and John (Li "Jessie") Zendano. Loving grandfather of John and Marion Agnes Aqualecchia and Henry and Pascal Zendano. Dear brother of Salvatore Zendano, Anna Sole, Marie Zendano and the late Carolina Zona, Daniel, Isadore, Nicholas Zendano and Mary DiChiaro. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dear friend of Connie Giglia. Zendano Family gives special thanks to the DiMartino Family who looked over "Pat" in his latter years. The family will receive friends at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home, Inc. 911 Englewood Ave. Wednesday from 3-7 PM and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Shrine of St. John Neumann Chapel (Englewood & Belmont Ave.) on Thursday at 9:30 AM. Please assemble at Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Pascal's memory to Hospice Foundation of WNY.
