Bunny, Bernard J. "Bernie" (American Flag) - January 29, 2015 - Beloved husband of the late Jane M. (nee Crowley) Bunny. Loving father of Bernard M. (late Jean), Dorothy (Timothy) Decker, Daniel, William (Carol) and the late Robert and Thomas Bunny. Loving grandfather of Sean (Mary), Emily, Michael, Ian and great grandfather of John Bunny. Son of the late William Jerome Bunny and Rose Louise (nee Valentine) Bunny. Dear brother of the late Dorothy Mae Bunny and William James Bunny. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home, Inc. 911 Englewood Ave. Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Amelia's Church at 11:30AM. Bernard was a member of the 13th Air Force, US Army Air Forces, in the Southwest Pacific Area and Philippine Islands during World War II.
