Ziriakus, Olga "Ollie" (nee Krawchuk) Born June 9, 1920, died February 8, 2015.
At nearly 95, Olga "Ollie" Ziriakus was the last surviving member of her family's first American Born Generation.
Ollie was thoroughly Buffalonian, born at home in a Black Rock cold water cottage. She was a graduate of Riverside High School.
Ollie met her husband Warren when his family sold their home in Riverside to her parents, and their courtship and marriage ensued.
With the arrival of children their young family moved to the Kenilworth neighborhood in the Town of Tonawanda, where the couple raised their four children.
In her life, she enjoyed gardening with her landscaper husband, and shared awards and recognition for the lovely results of their efforts.
She was also a participant in a long - term Women's Health Study with the University at Buffalo, and was a long time member of the Homemakers Club of Kenilworth.
Ollie was preceded in death buy her husband Warren Sr., with whom she was married for more than 51 years.
Survivors include Kathleen (Kenneth) McCart of Pawley's Island, SC; Melissa Ziriakus of Williamsville, NY; W. John Ziriakus, and Mark Ziriakus, each currently of Daytona Beach, FL; granddaughter, Melissa McCart, currently of Pittsburgh; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews as well as grand nieces and nephews.
