Condolence: Dear Diane, Christopher & Katie: Julius and I are sadden to hear that Peter has died. We have been praying for him, and for you, ever since we became aware of all the challenges he has had with his illness. I remember his enthusiasm for Notre Dame, golf, politics and all the people he was friends with. He truly enjoyed life. Thank you for opening your home to the employees of Purchasing and the Catholic Union Store. We are sorry we can't personally attend the wake or funeral Mass, but we will continue to pray for Peter and for you and your family. May you be surrounded by the love and support of family and friends. God Bless you always, Rosemary & Julius Paar

Condolence: Pete and I grew up together and were inseparable playmates through our Grammar School years. We stayed connected throughout our lives and our wives became good friends as well. Good times and memories continued to add up as our adult lives and careers continued to grow. Perhaps our most memorable adult reunion was the family vacation our families took with the Bennet's on Muskoka Lake in Canada. Every memory I have of Pete and I together puts a broad smile on my face. I send my heartfelt condolences to Pete's family and friends. I miss you Pete. Keep smiling.

Condolence: I will never forget the Leprechaun pants or the sweat on your brow when we ate wings or the trips on the bus to the Notre Dame games, the laughs, smiles and a few tears. Thanks for being a great boss and a better friend. My prayers go out to his children, Christopher and Katie and especially his wife Diane who took such good care of Peter all these years. I am grateful your suffering is over. Godspeed my friend.

Condolence From: Dick Schwartz
Condolence: My sincere condolences to Peter's family and friends.
Pete and I were good friends and playmates in the old St. John's/Parker neighborhood, long before we got to St. Joe's. We shared an outstanding adventure, driving to NYC on our own for the New York World's Fair in 1964. We never did figure out why our parents let us do that.
He was well loved and will be greatly missed.
