Congdon, Richard J. - Passed peacefully on July 18, 2016 at the age of 91 - Beloved husband of the late Mary I. (nee Bresney) Congdon. Devoted father of Beverly (Dr. James) Smith, Kay (John Jr.) Marciano, Colleen (Mark) Potts, Linda (James) Koester and the late Mark E. Congdon. Father in law of Anne Congdon. Loving grandfather of 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home, Inc. 911 Englewood Ave. Friday, July 29th from 4-6 PM. All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Church (Englewood Ave. ) Saturday July 30th at 9:30 AM.
