Condolence From: Maureen (Yablonski) Matiska
Condolence: Please know that Sister Martin Marie was loved and admired by many of her students. I am a graduate of West Side Central Catholic in Kingston Pa. She truly made our senior year one of the most memorable any student can have. Our glee club; under her direction, put on some of the best productions. She arranged to have the concert recorded and we were able to have those memories on an album to enjoy for the rest of our lives. For our reunion a few years ago many of us attended Mass at a local church and played the Alleluia chorus from the album. Thank you for sharing your family with us.

Condolence: I taught with Phrasia at the Academy of Saint Joseph. My daughter also had the good fortune of having Phrasia teach her. She was an exceptional woman. Always went the extra mile for her students. Phrasia left a lasting impression with my daughter that she will carry with her always. She will truly be missed. May she rest in peace.

Condolence: We have many fond memories of playing with Phrasia in St. Dominic's for Christmas and Easter Eve Masses. She was always so devoted and conscientious about her music and we are sorry for your loss. With love and sympathy, The Long Island Brass Guild

Condolence: I worked for many years with Phrasia at the Academy of St. Joseph in Brentwood, NY. She had the most beautiful voice that echoed thru the chapel as she led many masses. I will never forget it or her devotion to the young girls who were her music students. So sorry she is gone.

Condolence: Dear Stanwich family, Please accept my deepest condolences. One of my favorite scriptures from the Bible is found in Revelation 21:4- "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Death will no longer exist. That is a promise Jehovah has made to us and he will certainly accomplish it in the near future.
