Blenk Sr., Peter J. (American Flag) - October 7, 2017 - Beloved husband of Grace K. (nee Kieffer) Blenk. Devoted father of Michael G. (Anne), Peter J. Jr. (Paula) Blenk and Donald O'Brien. Cherished grandfather of James "JP" (Traci) Blenk, Elizabeth (Michael) Kern, Patricia Blenk, Elaina Blenk and John Blenk. Dear brother of the late William and Richard Blenk. Brother-in-law of Joanne Blenk, Mary Ann Kieffer and the late Mary Ann Martin, John Kieffer, Joseph (Caroline) Martin, Rita (Bernard) Jarocki and Mary (Robert) Peronne. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home, Inc., 911 Englewood Ave. on Thursday from 7 to 9 PM and Friday from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:30 AM and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church (Englewood Ave.) at 11:00 AM.
