Loving grandfather of David (Anna) Voigt Jr., Thomas (Faye) Fischer, Christian (Lisa) Voigt, Eric (Madeline) Fischer, Kristin (Benjamin) Tapia, Jessica (Robert) Spoor, Adam (Erin) Sassone, Kaitlin (John) Palmieri, Matthew (Krista) Voigt, Meghan (Michael) Lillis, Bridget Houck and Brenna (Donald) Brandt and great grandfather of 25. Dear brother of Thelma Frauenhofer and the late Maureen Day, Margaret Blackley, Edward, Robert , Vincent, Donald and Thomas Burns. Survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Jim was a proud veteran of the US Army during World War II and was a 4th Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus Council #0726. The family will receive friends at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home, Inc. 911 Englewood Ave. Tuesday from 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church (1085 Englewood Ave.) Wednesday at 9:30 AM.
