Condolences

Condolence From: Mike, Aubrey, and Christina Thompson-Hetrick
Condolence: We had the great pleasure of getting to know Buck and the Deacy family over the past five years as neighbors and friends. We were truly blessed to meet and enjoy the company of such selfless and wonderful people. We will forever cherish the countless hours spent chatting and sharing stories on the front porch. Buck lived a wonderful life full of joy and left a lasting impression on us. We will never forget his laugh, his smile, or any of the funny stories he would tell, often with a mischevious grin on his face. We wish we could have been there today to gather with what we can only imagine was an outpouring of love and support for the family, to share in the celebration of Buck's life. Rita, Maureen, Nicole, Tim, Lisa, Michael, and the rest of the family, we are deeply saddened by Buck's departure and you are all in our prayers and in our hearts.

Condolence: I have only gotten to know Buck over the last 6 months or so, as leader of his collection counting team at church. That's amazing in and of itself that at 90 years old he and Rita are still giving of themselves for the parish. Every word I heard at his memorial mass this morning fit very well for Buck, but the word that I think fits best is devoted. He was devoted to a life of service and everything important, his country, his family, his church, his volunteer firehall and The Bills and Yankees. Some might not consider those last couple important but, as a diehard sports fan myself, I admired him for his devoted fandom. I could always count on getting the Yankees score and recap from Saturday night as we waited for the 11:00 collection. My sincere condolences for your loss. As father said during the homily though, his spirit will live on in the way he touched us and how we emulate his life.

Condolence: Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. I hope you find comfort in the promise from our Heavenly Father found in the Bible at John 5:28&29 and John 6:40&44. May this promise along with your cherished memories bring you peace.
