Condolence From:
Condolence: Father Belzer was a true Christian. He was originally my parish priest at St Amelia’s ( the only one I would go to , if I needed to go to confession) As I became a adult I was positive only he could preside at my wedding , and he did over 42 years ago. ( at ,that point he had asked me if I could pencil in another time on our invitations , he wanted to be assured that the couple who had also chosen our “date” would also have time for their ceremony) He presided at my Marmas funeral ! ( who better) He baptized all my girls ! I will be looking for him in Heaven , Michele

Condolence From: Ann Frisch Passinault
Condolence: Dear Lenore and Jimmy, The connection between the Belzer and Frisch families also started on Louvaine where Paul and Bill grew up. When Paul was ordained in 1954, I was the first baby he baptized. Fr. Paul supported our family during the rough times and celebrated with us during the good. Your Mom, Lenore was my Confirmation sponsor. Fr. Paul officiated at my marriage to Jack and Jean's to Bob. He baptized our children, Cassandra and Christopher. Father Paul was usually a late arrival but always made an appearance at my parents' New Year's Eve parties and we attended his Lawn Fetes in Silver Creek and Pendleton. His recent Christmas card to us mentioned the special connection to the Frisch family while growing up. Now, the connection will continue when he joins Bill and Barbara at Good Shepherd Cemetery. Condolence From: Jillian
Condolence: I’m very sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences. Grief can be so hard especially the first year and though it may seem like death is the final state of things God’s word offers the hope of seeing those lost in death again during the promised resurrection. Christ spoke of this resurrection which means a standing back up, a restoration to life. At John 5:28,29 and John 6:40 he says in part “do not marvel at this there is going to be a resurrection...I will resurrect him on the last day”. So be assured you can be reunited with your loved one at a time when all things are made new. A time of true peace and security! You can read this at Psalms 37:10,11,29 and Revelation 21:4,5. There are many more heartwarming scriptures that give comfort and hope. For more please visit
