From Keith Chase
"Who can turn the World on with her smile, who can take a nothing day and make it all worth while". Those of you may recognize that as the opening lyrics from the iconic Mary Tyler Moore show but those words fits how everyone thought about Denise or at least it is the way that I felt. To share a single memory of her is not possible but I rather share the feeling that she gave me every time she entered a room that I was in. It was a feeling that my day is going to get better and that awesome things will soon be happening. She was my drinking buddy, my football buddy and my confidant. We were able to share our hopes, dreams, aspirations and many secrets together. There wasn't one thing that I couldn't tell her and I know many a time she came to me and trusted me as her friend. We were able to experience many Concerts, Shows, and Football games together. The most special were the two Super Bowls that we went to together. A lifetime of stories and laughs came from those trips and I will never ever forget them. She was the one I wanted to go to those games with and I was grateful that she wanted and was able to join me in those endeavors. Although this huge chapter in our lives abruptly closed years back, it was a chapter full of some lows but many more highs that will keep the memory of her in my heart forever. I know that she is looking down and one last time is saying those words that so endeared me to her.."Shut up Keith", and now I will do just that.
