I worked with Bob at Bell Aerospace. He had such a great sense of humor-always made me laugh. I truly enjoyed working with him, and will always remember him fondly.

I met Bob at Sheridan Golf Course. As a starter he took on one of the least rewarding jobs of dealing with cantankerous and often over zealous golfers. Bob made it look easy. His non-plussed demeanor and understated sense of humor kept the knuckleheads at bay and endeared him to the majority of players whom he encountered. We often shared vignettes and, upon learning his age, I was incredulous at what this amazing guy had accomplished in his many years. I will miss his sense of humor, his integrity and his intellect. May those who loved him be comforted in having been a part of such a fine man's life.

Sharon and David,
Your Dad will always be Mr. Wiedemer to me. From the vantage point of our front porch across the street, my Mom and Dad were always watching for what your Dad would be up to now. For me, the stories of his "Tin Can" days delighted me to no end. When I joined the Navy and would come home on leave it pleased me to talk with him about my Navy experiences and to compare his "old" Navy to my "new nuclear" Navy. I will greatly miss him.
My condolences to you and the entire Wiedemer family at this difficult time.

Grandpa was always known to me as Bob. Although I was corrected many times by my wife to call him Grampa. The man was a true gentleman. To see the love and bond between him and my wife Stephanie was unbreakable. Before I proposed to Stephanie I went to bob to seek his approval. His response was “what the heck are you asking me for?” He knew it then and he knew it last week. That he was such an important figure in her life. But he is a tough man and wouldn’t show that side to me. I told him I may wait a couple months. But he told me that the ring will burn a hole in my pocket. I proposed 5 hours later. I still can’t get my mind around the fact that he treated me as one of his own grandkids. The bond we built over the years are unforgettable. The love he gave , the memories he shared and the bond we had made me always excited to see him. I never minded hearing the same story twice in one week. I’d give it all to hear them one more time.
