Benfanti, Charles P. - October 29, 2014 - Beloved husband of Kathryn E. (Nee Parsons) Benfanti. Dear Father of Elizabeth B. (Robert) Johnson, Charles W. (Pauline Berghold) , Kathryn E. (Sherif Sherif M.D.). and William J. (Kathleen Makolinski) Benfanti. Loving grandfather of Kayla, Siobhan, Eilis and Charles. Brother of Louis S. (Sally) Benfanti, Russell A. Benfanti and the late Connie (Joseph) Costanzo and Petrina Pellerite. Brother in law of Joseph Pellerite. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the C. Mertz & Son Funeral Home, Inc. 911 Englewood Ave. Friday 4-8 PM. All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Church (Englewood Ave.) Saturday at 9:30 AM. Please assemble at church. In lieu of flowers donations to Roswell Park Alliance. Charlie was a former electrician with Trico Corp and a long time volunteer at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
