Medlin, Larry P. "Rebel" - (American Flag) - Passed away April 10, 2015 with his family by his side after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Cumberland, Kentucky where he left to join the US Army then moved to Kane, PA, where he met his wife Rosella, and then moved to Niagara Falls, NY. Larry worked for Paper City Transfer in Johnsonburg, PA. then for Folts Trucking in North Collins until January of this year. He was a member of the Patriot Guard for three years until he became ill. Larry enjoyed riding his Harley with his granddaughter for fundraisers and with his brother in law Mark Morton. He also enjoyed camping and spending time with his family. Larry was a devoted father of Trina (David Jr.) Mylar,Virginia (Russell) Sparling, Barry Frain and Crystal Medlin. Loving grandfather of Joe, Chris and Mike Mylar, CaSarah Raffety, Kara and Russell Sparling, Dan (Melody) Angelina, Phillip and Brendan Frain, Jessica Danebrock, Maleiha and JayKeb Carpenter and great grandfather of Kmron, Mariah and Micah. Dear brother of Richard (Gayle) Medlin, Roger Medlin, Carolyon Medlin and the late Timmy and Dallas Medlin. Also his step grandchildren Hannah, Austin, Heather, Dylan, Courtney, Zachary, Tyler, Nathan, Chris, Eric, Courtney, Paul, Ben, Adam, Stefan, Kassy, Cameron, Nikkijean, Kaitlyn, TJ, Emily, Katherine, Dylans, Bekah and Kenzie. Very close friends Nina, Amorita, Tony and Tammy Latello of Sleepy Hollow, Monika Sikora, George and Sandy Kramer, Raymond "Grumpy" (Diane) Farrell, Ken and Sandy Michalski and two brothers Kevin Dundon and Don Danebrock and his extended family of Sleepy Hollow and his boss Jinny and Josh Folts and his best friend James Lundgren and Herb Simmons Jr. and Brother in law Herbert (Lorie) Simmons. The family will receive friends at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home, Inc. 911 Englewood Ave. Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM.
