Heigl, Betty T. (nee Mergenhagen) - May 1, 2016 - Beloved wife of the late Anthony Heigl. Loving mother of Cynthia M. Heigl, Debbie L. (Richard) Traugott and Robert F. (Lisa) Heigl of Gilbert, AZ. Dear grandmother of Melissa (Mark) Christy, Christopher (Katie) Traugott and Taylor and Aidan Heigl. Great grandmother of Logan and Noah Traugott and Jackson and Alenia Christy. Sister of the late Melvin (Geraldine) Mergenhagen and Robert Mergenhagen. Sister in law of Mary Mergenhagen, Anna (Edward) Miller and David (Colleen) Heigl. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home, Inc., 911 Englewood Ave. on Friday from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. Where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 AM and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church (263 Claremont Ave.) at 11:00 AM. Betty was very involved in numerous activities at her Church and was a member of and volunteered for numerous organizations.
