It is with great sadness that I say goodbye to my brother Kevin. In my mind Kevin was the rock of the family -- always kind, always reliable, always there for us in changing times. Never a man of many words, if Kevin disagreed with us at times, he never allowed that to get in the way of his commitment to and love of his family. He was blessed to have had a loving wife and wonderful children to enrich his life. My life too was enriched by that wonderful family he introduced to us, and by my memories of Kevin that extend all the way back to our youth. Speaking with Kevin in his final days he was selfless and concerned mainly about the effect of his passing on others in his family. I'll cry over the loss today, but at least my memories of my brother will always provide me joy from now on.
