Scott, Gary F. (American Flag) - Age 73 - Of the Town of Tonawanda - Went to be with the Lord on October 22, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of 47 years to Marie (nee Graminski) Scott. Loving father of Karen (Michael) Rainey, Stephen (Diane) Scott and John (Nikole) Scott. Dear grandfather of Lucas, Ben, Ethan, Ellie, Owen, Jack, Caroline and Nico. Brother of Roberta (Ken) Hollander, Joel (Michelle) Scott and the late Carol Gibbs and Mary Ellen Jones. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Son of the late Robert and Louise Scott. Gary was formerly from Dunkirk, NY and worked as an electrician at the Huntley Station and was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. Gary was a strong believer in Jesus Christ who enjoyed time with his family, especially his grandchildren whom he adored. He also volunteered for many organizations and loved to lend a helping hand to his neighbors. The family will receive friends at the Creekside Assembly of God, 2625 Tonawanda Creek Road, Amherst 14228, on Sunday, October 30th from 1:30 - 3:00 PM, where a Celebration of Life will follow at 3:00PM.
